Offline Time

Well when I last posted, we were on our way to the beach. Where our cute little cabin was equipped with all the modern conveniences of home. Except that the modem had blown up, and to get online you had to go to the main office. And hello!! I was at the ocean! Who's gonna take the time for that! Because when they were open we were playing.

But we ran in the waves, explored the beaches, and museums, and had a lovely time. I will post pictures later today, after I reclaim the laptop from the technology starved kids.

Till then I leave you with a poem:

Crossing the Bar - Tennyson

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.
