That might be an exaggeration, but we have an accordion player next door, a guitar player on the steps that wanted to buy Lance, both playing away, plus when leaving I distinctly saw a scuba diver walking into the lobby. That goes along with the rock band that was here this morning eating breakfast. I'm fairly sure this was a different group than tonight. The group this morning had a tour bus which is gone tonight. And the group tonight seems to be more of a traditional group. Personally, I think it is an added bonus, the music is quite lovely.
I love Seattle, but what in the heck is with this sign?
Today we headed back to Seattle to go up the Space Needle. Even though I grew up here, I've never been up the Space Needle, believe it or not. It was really fun, and we got some great pictures too.

Pretty pretty Seattle
We then popped down to the waterfront. Seafair is this week, so the Naval ships were in town with lots of sailors and tourists so we didn't stay long, just enough to have lunch at Ivars. It seriously has the best seafood, and very reasonable. So good!
Outside the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop
Outside at the fish and chips stand, people feed the seagulls. Evidently not fast enough according to these 2!
My Acres of Clams. There is nothing like steamed clams at Ivars!

After that it was back to the hotel for a swim (kids and Kevin), nap (me and the dogs) and then down to Trotters for dinner in Auburn. I grew up in Auburn and Trotters was always our favorite restaurant. The kids got their famous sundaes and fell asleep in the car while we caught up with Marjorie, one of our best family friends.
Finally at Trotters after their 2 hour swim!
Cory's first Trotters burger - mustard optional
And ice cream! Cory got the Black and White sundae - chocolate and vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, marshmallow, whipped cream, sprinkles. Devin got mint chocolate chip with sprinkles and oreos.
Cory ate that entire sundae, and the entire hamburger!
So now I'm going to sleep to the tune of the accordion, and the guitar player, tomorrow it's beach time!!!!!!!
