New Years Letter Done!

New Year's cards work so much better for me than Christmas cards. We're even ahead of my self imposed schedule of having the cards out by Dec 31st 2012. That sentence explains my reasoning.

I will spare you the letter which basically just recapped the year which is all here anyway. But here is the photo collage that accompanied it. Now onto the next New Years goal. And I am way, way, totally ahead of schedule!

Welcome 2012

We are sitting here waiting for the New Years to ring in, watching movies, new and old, while knitting and playing ball with Ramses-puppy. This pretty much sums up 2011 in a way. A lot of change, a lot of play, a lot of knitting, and a lot of watching plots unfold.

Happy New Years my friends, may 2012 bring you good fortune, great friends, good yarn, and time to appreciate it all.

Last weekend we spent a lot of time getting the New Years letter out. Now, years ago, we had given up sending Christmas cards. Who needs that much stress, plus we had quite a few friends who didn't celebrate. It seemed weird to send them a Christmas card.

Last year we instituted a New Years card. Perfect! Cause pretty much everyone has a new year start, and conveniently you can't be late with one. I mean, is a New Years letter really late in February? I don't think so! That said, we actually had them all mailed and out the door by the 5th. Which was an amazing feat for us.

We did have a lot of help though. Really couldn't have done it without Neptune's printer skills.
